Jennifer A. Carver has extensive experience handling all aspects of single plaintiff litigation, from the demand letter phase through trial preparation, as well as experience meeting real-time, unanticipated needs during trial. Her primary focus is defending against claims of wrongful termination, retaliation and discrimination, with additional experience in individual and representative wage and hour matters.
After law school and prior to joining Bent Caryl, Jennifer gained valuable experience advising a wide range of clients, from small businesses to large corporations. Jennifer has represented employers in state and federal court and in matters before state agencies such as the California Department of Industrial Relations and the Civil Rights Department – both in litigation and in responding to agency investigative inquiries .
